209 Learning About Omega 3s From Seabuckthorn With Sibus Peter McMullin (Episode 209)

Welcome back for another insightful look at the world of health and nutrition brought to you by The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore!

Today Jimmy speaks with Peter McMullin of Sibu, the company promoting a relatively obscure berry which they import from the Himalayan Mountains sold under the name Tashi. The berry in question is from the seabuckthorn plant and from its seeds is derived an oil rich in Omega 3 essential fatty acids.

It has several advantages over fish oil, including a 2-year shelf life at room temperature, a neutral flavor, and the lack of Omega 6 oils (of which McMullin asserts many Americans get way too much of in their diet…and it’s true). Listen in for more information about this company, its products, and its mission!
